Home Exercise Program
Reverse Table Top
Reverse table top lifts the hips from a seated position so the body makes a flat table. Here is what it builds and what to watch for at home.
01Home Exercise
The opposite of a rounded day.
Reverse table top works the back of the shoulders, the glutes and the trunk together, which is close to the exact opposite of the posture a child holds at a desk or over a screen. Holding a straight line from shoulders to knees asks a lot of the hips before it asks anything of the arms. Watch for hips lifted level with the shoulders and knees rather than sagging, and a head that stays in line with the spine instead of dropping back.
