What You’ll Be Doing as a Patient Care Coordinator

As the first point of contact for patients and families, you will help create a smooth, welcoming, and efficient experience at our clinic. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients and families with warmth and professionalism.
  • Managing schedules – Registering and scheduling patients in our EMR system.
  • Handling insurance verifications & authorizations – Helping families understand and navigate billing and insurance needs.
  • Answering phone calls & assisting with inquiries – Providing a calm and confident voice for new patients and concerned parents.
  • Supporting clinic operations – Helping maintain an organized and clean office environment.
  • Assisting therapists as needed – Ensuring smooth transitions between appointments and helping with office tasks.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an organized, proactive, and caring individual who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

  • Customer Service Experience Required – At least one year in a medical office, customer service and administrative role.
  • Experience with EMR Systems & Insurance Authorization is Preferred – Prior experience in a physical therapy or pediatric clinic is a plus.
  • Strong Communication Skills – You’ll be working closely with patients, parents, and therapists daily.
  • A Positive, Team-First Attitude – We want someone who loves working with children and families.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills – Ability to multitask and manage schedules with accuracy and professionalism.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour
  • Minimum 20+ Hours Per Week – Flexible hours available, including 4-hour or 8-hour shifts
  • No Weekends Required – Monday-Friday work schedule
  • Work Location: In-person at our Mount Kisco clinic
