As a pediatrician I recommend Developmental Steps frequently. I have always had wonderful feedback about all of their providers! In addition they are highly professional and dedicated to providing excellent care. I could not recommend them more highly. Dr Allison Nied
Mother of 5 year old girl
Developmental Steps has been a life saver for our family. At the age of 5, my daughter was diagnosed w low muscle tone, one side stronger than the other, etc. DS and their amazing staff helped us to understand my daughter’s needs as well as the best course of action. They keep the kids engaged through the use of carious physical therapy exercises – there is never a dull moment. My son who does not need pt begs to go!
Joe is an amazingly talented therapist. While doctors denied the condition, he took a toddler with very obvious low muscle tone, from diagnosis to plan to treatment to recovery while keeping her engaged and parents always optimistic. Joe is a miracle!
Father of 18 year old girl
After asking around for a physical therapist who specializes in musculoskeletal pain for my teenage daughter, a few physical therapists in NY and NJ recommended Developmental Steps. My daughter sees physical therapist Joe Kiefer and we could not be happier. He is attentive, patient, kind and caring. My daughter has physical therapy at Developmental Steps approximately two times a week. They have two locations – Mount Kisco and Port Chester – and making appointments at either location is very easy thanks to Barbara who is a pleasure. Also, parking is convenient at both locations. In addition to PT sessions at Developmental Steps, my daughter has a daily home program that Mr. Kiefer devised for her and revises often based on her progress. As a parent, I very much appreciate the few minutes Mr. Kiefer gives me at the end of my daughter’s PT sessions to review what they did, to explain what he expects for next time, to let me know what he wants her to do at home and to answer any questions I may have. Significantly, my daughter feels very comfortable at Developmental Steps. Overall, we have been, and continue to be, very pleased with my daughter’s care at Developmental Steps and highly recommend them.
Alex, Parent of 19 year old girl
We brought our son to Joe at Developmental Steps over the winter to improve his core strength for sports, and we couldn’t be happier with the results and the confidence he has from all his hard work

My 7 week old son and I took advantage of the free tummy time workshop that Developmental Steps offered. Prior to the workshop we would probably work on tummy time once every other day and my son would immediately get upset every time I set him up. After attending the workshop, I learned different tools to help my baby feel more comfortable on his tummy and even start to enjoy it. Only a few days later, I notice an improvement. He will now hang out on his tummy for up to 7 minutes without getting upset which is a huge improvement! Hayley was very attentive and positive throughout the workshop. She explained the importance of tummy time and how it affects the rest of the developmental steps, especially in the first couple of years of our baby’s life. We are so happy we took advantage of the workshop and would absolutely go to Developmental Steps if we have any future issues with any progress. Highly recommend them!
Misa, Mother of 13 year old girl
Joe and Developmental Steps are amazing! My 13 year old daughter has a TBI and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. We are so grateful to have found Joe. He has worked miracles with my daughter. He has so much experience with children and in trying many other PT’s we realize how important it is to have someone who knows how to deal with kids. Joe makes PT fun! He is always positive and can always get my daughter to smile. He pushes her and praises her accomplishments and has seen her through many ups and downs. After battling chronic pain for 2 years,Joe has giving my daughter the hope to continue on! Joe is the best!!! And Barbra is the greatest and sweetest receptionist ever! Don’t waste time going anywhere else!
Sarah, Mother of 3 year old boy
Fantastic place! We worked closely with Hayley to help my son who was diagnosed with torticollis. She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and caring while keeping the treatment fun for my son. Would highly recommend Hayley and team at Developmental Steps.
Alicia, Mother of 2 two year old boy
My son has Congenital Muscular Torticollis and mild hypotonia. We moved from Canada to NY when he was 8 months old and began working with both Hayley and Joe. We learned right away that we had not been doing enough to combat the torticollis or help DS gain the strength to catch up on his motor skills, BUT that it’s never too late to start. Within 6 sessions, DS was rolling. We’ve been working with Hayley and Joe for just over 3 months and now DS has the core strength and balance needed to crawl, transition into/out of sitting, and gain some much needed independence around mealtimes. All our visits have been centered around play and fun. My questions and concerns have always been answered thoroughly and honestly. Also, shout out to Barbara for being the absolute best over the phone.
Lauren, Mother of 4 month old boy
At my son’s 4 month check up our pediatrician recommended we see a physical therapist as he detected slight torticollis . After hearing great reviews we made an appointment with Hayley at Developmental Steps and we couldn’t be happier! She is so patient and knowledgeable we saw improvements after our first visit. She also makes sure that my husband and I understood how to do all of the exercises and stretches at home so we could continue to make progress. So thankful for Hayley and the staff at Developmental Steps!
Karin, Mother of Adult Patient
Joe Kiefer has been a part of my family’s life for almost 20 years. My daughter was diagnosed with hypotonia (low muscle tone) at birth and then with cerebral palsy as she got older and did not meet her milestones. We met a wonderful PT in 1998 who has treated her ever since. Joe has a keen knowledge of gross motor development and diagnostic eye of pinpointing issues. His patience and loyalty is unwavering. I often say he is the reason my daughter walks today. It may have taken time, but all efforts have been well worth the progress she has made. I wholeheartedly recommend Joe and his very professional staff for any pediatric PT needs, evaluation or treatment.
Kristin, Mother of 13 year old boy
Mariela, Mother of 2 year old girl
When I first contacted Hayley from Developmental steps it was to evaluate my 4 month old baby. Baby started weekly sessions and has improved significantly since then. Hayley always teaches me how to do the exercises with my baby at home, recommends equipment I could get to help baby, and is extremely sweet and knowledgeable. At developmental steps they also evaluated my kid for OT and helped me navigate the EI process.
Alyssa, Mother of 1 year old girl
It has been an overall great experience with Developmental Steps! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hayley is a wonderful and caring therapist for my daughter. She is very knowledgeable and resourceful and would recommend!
Misa, Mother of 13 year old girl
Joe is absolutely THE best therapist one could ever have!!!! Joe has been our saving therapy-angel for almost two years, and we certainly could not have gotten through, or even faced the recovery process without Joe’s unique skills, wisdom and sincere care. He’s been our “Yoda” through all this. Joe understands kids and how they think and how to inspire them to get better, and in your overwhelming task of finding the right doctor/therapist, I urge you to meet Joe (and the whole team at Devevelopmental Steps), and see firsthand what a true therapist is.
Alexandra, Mother of 2 year old boy
My son has been doing physical therapy at Developmental Steps for a few weeks now and we are thrilled with his quick progress. Hayley, his therapist, has been amazing. She is patient, caring, and takes the time to explain everything while giving us helpful exercises to do at home. Everyone at Developmental steps has been great and accommodating and I highly recommend them!
Suzanne, Mother of 10 year old boy
I cannot say enough good things about Developmental Steps. Hayley is a terrific physical therapist, and my son loves working with her. She makes PT fun and challenging, and motivates him to work hard. I would recommend Hayley to anyone.
Julianne, Mother of 4 month old boy
My 4 month old was diagnosed with Torticollis. After 1 week of therapy & at home stretches and exercises his strength greatly improved! Our therapist, Hailey, taught me how to incorporate play in order to help my son stretch his neck muscles. I’m so impressed with this facility & therapist! I couldn’t believe how quickly he improved in just a week! I know with more work & therapy he will have full range of motion, and I’m also learning some new and inventive ways to play with my baby! So glad I decided to start therapy sooner than later!
Syndy, Mother of 1 year old twins
The quality of care at Developmental Steps is beyond stellar. Hayley is a talented PT who has a strong theoretical knowledge base, sets realistic expectations, and interacts with her clients in a caring and respectful manner. She has been treating both of my children for months now; I feel incredibly lucky that they are in her care for their physical therapy needs. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hayley to any family looking for pediatric physical therapy.
Melissa, Mother of 3 year old and 1 year old boys
The welcoming staff and experienced physical therapists make Developmental Steps a wonderful place! We have been a part of the Developmental Steps family for just over two years, and Hayley has treated both our sons. Her patient, caring nature resonates with us and our children. She combines her expert knowledge of pediatric physical therapy with creative strategies so each session is exciting and fun. We’ve seen great results, and we feel so fortunate to have found Developmental Steps!
JoAnna, Mother of 8 month old girl
When our daughter was diagnosed with torticollis Developmental Steps was recommended to us. Our first interaction with Hayley was extremely informative. Hayley is VERY knowledgeable and excellent at what she does. We noticed an increase in our daughter’s range of motion after the first week and she has made huge improvements in a short amount of time thanks to Hayley. Everyone we have interacted with in the office has been wonderful. Highly recommend Hayley to anyone that may need PT.
Casey, Mother of 3 year old twins and 2 month old girl
Developmental steps is a wonderful pediatric PT facility. Both my sons (3 yrs old) have been seeing Hayley and the amount of progress that has been made with each of them is nothing short of spectacular. Hayley, has a true passion for working with little ones and always figures out new ways to keep them engaged. They always look forward to their sessions as it is play based and they always have fun! Highly recommend Hayley and Developments Steps for any pediatric PT needs.
Nellie, Mother of Adult patient
We found Joe Kiefer and Developmental Steps when our son was two years old and severely delayed. Joe taught him how to sit up, crawl, stand, balance, weight shift, walk with a walker, walk with crutches, dress, safely navigate school and home environment, and more. Joe patiently and expertly has been training him and working with him through developmental milestones for the past 14 years. Thanks to Joe and Hayley, our son has not stopped becoming more independent, stronger, and more determined. Even when we had to move to another state for two years, we coordinated trips back to town with appointments with Joe to get his feedback and plan future treatment. We trust Joe and Hayley without reservation and our son has to benefited from their expertise and support. We could not be more grateful.
Our kid has benefited enormously from therapy at Developmental Steps in the last 3 years. Joe and the team combine professionalism effortlessly with a personal touch in putting kids at ease with the settings. Our kid looks forward to his twice-a-week sessions and takes his ‘home work’ seriously. We see good improvement in not only his physical abilities but also his confidence level.
Sally, Mother of 7 year old boy
My son’s physical therapist at school (Mamaroneck UFSD) recommended this gym, and I was so impressed to find a place which is so uniquely focused on pediatric physical therapy. They have a fantastic space with a wide range of equipment so my son is excited to go in for his therapy. We have just started working with Hayley and Sue and both seem wonderful; my son warmed up to them right away and he is working hard and having a lot of fun in his sessions. I also appreciate Barbara’s help with any administrative issues with scheduling and insurance.
Theresa, Mother of 1 year old boy
We love Developmental Steps! Hayley is amazing. I noticed when my son was around two months old he was favoring his left side. My pediatrician mentioned he most likely had torticollis and suggested physical therapy. Hayley taught me exercises to stretch and strengthen his neck and also showed me some re-positioning exercises to help remedy the flat spot he developed by favoring one side. A few months later my son had full motion and we were discharged 🙂 Would highly recommend Developmental Steps to anyone who is looking for a pediatric physical therapist!

Nicole, Mother of 7 year old boy
My son has been coming to Developmental Steps for about 10 months now, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about his progress!!Both Hayley And Joe are AMAZING PTs!!!!!!
Super fun, kind, encouraging, and always very creative with exercises and activities!
We’ve been thoroughly impressed with their commitment to their patients, and to their continuing education.
They’re so dedicated to providing the very best care to each and every one of the patients!!
My son especially loves the “Ninja moves” he gets to do in his PT sessions :-)) There aren’t enough words to express how genuinely grateful we are to both Hayley and Joe!!!! They are the BEST!!!!!
Nicole, Mother of 3 year old boy
My son is 3 years old and broke his femur and was in a spica cast for 7 weeks. His cast was taken off on a Friday and he had his first session on Monday. I’m truly forever grateful to the staff and Joe at developmental steps for helping my son learn to walk again. We are 6 weeks post cast and he is walking, running, and finally jumping he is back to himself and it would not be possible without Developmental Steps. To watch these therapists help children through fun games and play, yet they are still completing their goals to get the child wear they need to be is truly incredible to watch and be apart of. I strongly recommend Developmental Steps if your child is in need.See Nicole’s video testimonial below:
Lynn, mother of 8 year old girl
A huge shout out to developmental Steps, physical therapy for my 8 year old! She has flat feet and before we started, she would constantly complain about back pain and tired legs. It was stopping her from playing. I went to her pediatrician said not to worry AND I went to a podiatrist who just said to use orthotics, which she said hurt even worse. I KNEW something more needed to be done, but no one would listen to me. Finally, a friend suggested a PT evaluation. At the eval, they validated my feelings and laid out a plan. It was the first time I felt hear to. We got great orthotics that make her feet feel happy AND worked on exercises to strengthen her legs and core to actually correct the problem, not just treat the symptom. Now, she can fully be a kid. I’m so thankful!!
Meghan, Mother of 4 year old girl
As a parent it is difficult to acknowledge that your child needs a service beyond what you can provide, but once you know you need additional support, you want to make sure you find the best option for your child. About a year and a half ago we began a discussion with Hayley at Developmental Steps about our daughter’s physical therapy needs and since then we have only been completely satisfied with the experiences our daughter has had. Hayley is an amazing physical therapist who seems to have an endless supply of patience and a magic ability to motivate a child regardless of their mood. She is empathetic to the needs of the parent and is more than happy to teach a parent specific activities and exercises that can be done at home to help continue improving the child’s strength. From the moment you enter Developmental Steps you are warmly greeted by either Barbara or Rebecca, which helps to make idle waiting time so much more enjoyable, especially when you have a younger sibling in tow, as I often do. As a result of a family scheduling change, we recently switched to Diana for our daughter’s pt sessions and we continue to be very happy with the care she is receiving. We highly recommend Developmental Steps – the team that works there is an exceptional one!
Randi, Mother of two year old boy
I cannot say enough positive words about Developmental Steps. From the initial contact with Barbara, who provided me her personal number when we kept playing phone tag, to our final appointment 5 months later, my son received personalized care from both Joe and Hayley. I was amazed by how quickly I observed improvement in my son’s muscle tone and strength as he learned how to walk. Our last visit was bittersweet as my son walked out of the office instead of having to be carried. We were truly treated like family and know we always have somewhere to go in the future should we face more challenges. Thank you, Developmental Steps, for giving my son the gift of independence and for all of your support along the way!
Patrick, Father of 3 month old girl
Our daughter was diagnosed with mild torticollis at three months old, and we were referred to Developmental Steps by our pediatrician. We love this facility, and our daughter’s therapist, Hayley, is amazing! In the last two months, she has made great progress, and Hayley has taught us exercises and tummy time practices to use at home each day to help our baby girl reach her goals. She has helped us to find toys that we can use in our home to guide her along the way as well. Hayley is kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. She is wonderful with our daughter! Our three year old (who sits on the side and watches our sessions) even loves to go to see Hayley! We are so lucky to have found Hayley and this amazing place for our baby girl!
Yascara, Mother of 3 month old girl
Our pediatrician recommended PT for our 3 month old daughter who had torticollis and due to this her head was flat on one side . After reaching out to different places we came across Developmental Steps, the team was accommodating, organized, and had great follow up. Barbara was great at keeping us posted and helping us through the insurance process. Haley was knowledgeable, kind, and patient. She took her time to explain torticollis, gave us exercises we could do at home with our daughter, and help reassure IT WAS GOING TO BE OK! We can not Thank Haley enough for also helping us through the process of getting a Doc Band. Initially I was nervous and had a bit of guilt but Haley took the time to give us her recommendations, explain based on her experience the results she has seen, and even following up for adjustments on our daughters Doc band. Our daughter has now graduated PT and is almost out of her Doc Band and we couldn’t be happier with the results of the whole experience. I can’t say enough about Haley and the team at Development Step they are truly great and I highly recommend them.
Ali, Mother of 1 year old girl
Our one year old was referred to Developmental Steps due to weak ankles and toe standing. As a parent its always unsettling to hear there could possibly be something “wrong” with your child. Developmental Steps provided an evaluation that I could not attend and took the time right after the session to personally call me and walk me through next steps, recommended exercises and all details related to my daughter and her future experience. They were accommodating to ensure her sessions were around her naps and regularly text me with progress updates, videos and encouragement. Hayley has been an amazing therapist. She is warm, loving, patient and always available. Developmental Steps has helped my daughter who couldn’t stand flat footed or stand on her own to now walk in a span of 5 weeks. I highly recommend Developmental Steps if your child needs PT services!
Rebecca, Mother of 11 year old girl
I brought my daughter into Developmental Steps to get PT for a knee injury. She saw both Joe & Hayley for treatment. They were fantastic! My daughter is very active and her injury was affecting her games. After a few visits and home exercises, there was a dramatic improvement in her pain level, endurance and strength. Her orthopedist was beyond thrilled with her check-up. Hayley and Joe were motivating, supportive and made each treatment fun. She’s playing better and her confidence is soaring. Thank you!
Jennifer, Mother of 8 year old boy
We love Developmental Steps! The therapists are all excellent and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!
Alexa, Mom of 11 month old girl
Hayley from developmental steps is someone that I will never forget. I was a petrified mom of a daughter who was showing developmental delays and it seemed like I couldn’t find anyone to help me. She stepped up in my time of need, welcoming my daughter with open arms, and advocating for her when I didn’t know how. She didn’t hesitate to work with me financially, completely open to different appointment durations, frequencies, and payment schedules so that my daughter could continue to see her. During the sessions she worked with my daughter to make her feel comfortable and had this magical ability to work the physical therapy to suit my daughter, not work my daughter to suit the physical therapy. Willa was calm with her and I trusted her with my baby instantly. She taught me every movement and made me feel confident that I could help my daughter. She boosted my self confidence as a mother in a time where I was doubting my capabilities. Within the 6 weeks of treatment, we saw HUGE improvements. We celebrated together when Willa would reach a new milestone. When I was finally able to find a location that would take our insurance, Hayley was excited for us and so happy that she was in good hands. In a time where everything seems to be about money, it was so refreshing to be surrounded by professionals that truly cared. I will never ever forget the kindness that was extended to my family. Thank you so much.
Erin, Mother of 11 year old girl
We worked with Haley and Joe to get diagnosed for my daughters Torticollis. We were waiting for early intervention which is a lengthy process and didn’t want to wait to get working on the issue. They were absolutely wonderful at diagnosing and helping with stretches and exercises and gave us homework exercises to do at home. I highly recommend them and encourage others in our situation while waiting for EI to not delay and start working with another PT cause the earlier the better.
Mother of 5 year old boy
“My son’s work with Hayley and Diana over the last couple of months has been a wonderful experience for him. They have made his PT sessions so fun and rewarding that he literally counts down the days to his next one. We’ve seen growth physically and in his confidence. He now approaches the playground with much more energy and excitement, and he is so proud of his growing strength and balance. Thank you for all your support!”
Mother of 7 year old girl
My daughter used to complain that her legs were tired and hurt after a few minutes of walking. It held our family back from enjoying weekends. After a few sessions, home exercises and proper orthopedics, we can spend all day playing as a family. Several doctors had misdiagnosed my daughter but Developmental Steps was finally able to give my daughter the ability to participate in life and now she can ride a bike, play soccer, and go on long hikes. Thank you so much

Father of infant boy
“When our pediatrician expressed concern that our 4 month old son Thomas had weakness in his left arm and that it wasn’t moving the same way as his right we decided to act immediately and engaged with Hayley at Developmental Steps for physical therapy sessions. After an initial consultation and examination Hayley determined Thomas’s left arm was behind where is should be for his age. Together we discussed a plan and mutual goals – Hayley rapidly constructed a program for our son.
After 5 months of sessions we were amazed at how improved his arms movement range and strength were. In fact, it was our pediatrician who commented, “Had I not known, I never would have noticed anything; he looks great! By the end of sessions, Thomas was crawling at full pace on an inclined ramp and throwing a ball with his left hand better than his right!
The time spent with Hayley at Developmental Steps was absolutely critical to Thomas’s improvement. Hayley kept the program fun for our son while demonstrating compassion for worried parents – Hayley has amazing interaction skills with children and is excellent at communicating feedback to parents. We strongly recommend anyone with similar concerns to work with Hayley; your kids will thank you.”
Mother of infant girl and toddler boy
“I have had 2 children requiring physical therapy work with Hayley and Joe who have been fantastic therapists. The large majority of the time, we worked with Hayley for my daughter Caitlin, 5 months old with torticollis and my son Christian 2 1/2 years old, for in toeing and low muscle tone issues. From the very beginning Hayley was very professional, highly experienced and produced quality sessions with my children. Every time she saw either of them, Hayley used her time with them efficiently, very attentively focusing on the areas that needed the most work always ending with recommendations for daily at home exercises. I appreciated how well Hayley listened to whatever our concerns were, really worked with us to accommodate our schedule and gave us invaluable honest and helpful advice.
I’m happy to report that after 9 months of therapy my daughter is a secure walker with her torticollis fully resolved and therefore has graduated from therapy. My son, who has progressed beautifully , becoming stronger and more coordinated, still needs the therapy, where he continues to make gains each and every week. I can’t thank and recommend Developmental Steps enough for being there for us as true partners with our children’s physical needs.”

“My son was diagnosed with torticolli
The entire Developmen
We have been incredibly happy with the treatment our children are receiving.
The office is a fun and challenging therapeutic environment. Joe and Hayley have worked with our twelve year old daughter for almost three years. Their treatment plan has improved her muscle tone and posture, thereby decreasing her daily discomfort. The home exercise program they have designed for her takes into account her physical needs as well as her busy lifestyle. Hayley and Joe are kind, empathetic, flexible and thoughtful.
Our son’s coordination and physical strength has improved dramatically since he began working with Sue several months ago. He loves the fun games and challenges she creates for him in the office. Even as a 9 year old, he sees evidence of how the program has helped him on the ball field and in gym class. As a team, we feel that Developmental Steps always has our children’s physical and emotional well-being in mind – continually evaluating their progress and creating new ways to move them along their individual paths.
Jill, mother of 12 year old daughter and 9 year old son
Mother of 8 year old son with Cerebral Palsy
“Developmental Steps is a magical place. It is a place where your child and family can find amazing advice and guidance for getting through life challenges and it is a place for your child to grow and achieve their full potential.
Our 8 year old son has Cerebral Palsy and our family has been working with Joe Kiefer and Hayley Binder for 4 years. Joe is above and beyond a traditional PT. He is a friend, an advisor and truly a mentor for us as we have moved through raising a child with a physical disability. He is an integral part of the team that works with our son and has guided us through two intensive surgeries. He and Hayley worked tirelessly with us to implement a very strenuous post surgery PT plan and it worked! The reality is that they get how hard it can be to make tough decisions on what is best for your kids…and they give great advice and support.
Hayley and Joe are very practical and flexible and always design realistic, custom programs for our son. They work with each family to set long terms goals for their child and then break them down for areas of focus. For example, they both have come to do “home sessions” where we focus on Daily Living Skill activities. They are not afraid to take one step back to take two steps forward. They understand that kids have ups and downs, have periods of progress and other times when they may stall. Joe and Hayley see our son on different days, but they constantly talk with each other and work on complementary skills so he doesn’t “burn out” and continues to grow physically.
The best part about Developmental Steps is that they understand the need to establish a trusting, caring relationship with the children and families they work with. During our time working with Developmental Steps, there have been hard days and easy days which is to be expected. Joe always has a smile on his face and patience throughout. He understands how to motivate kids to achieve their full potential and to provide a listening ear to parents who look out into an uncertain future. Hayley is a bright light each time she works with our son and, while she works him hard, he is always so proud of himself at the end.
When he was very little, most people said our son would not walk or would be an “at home” only ambulator. Well, I am happy to say that Developmental Steps has helped our son learn to walk..literally! He uses a walker at home and at school and has begun working with crutches as well. He uses a wheelchair for longer distances, but is incredibly independent at making the choice about how he wants to get around in the world. As a parent, one of the things I hope for is that our son will be able to live independently some day. Developmental Steps has already enabled us to make that hope a reality.”
“When I first came to Developmental Steps, my cerebral palsy controlled my life. I could not even dress myself. Now, I live on my own in Washington DC as a student at Georgetown University Law School. This could not have happened without Joe. My particular variant of CP means that I cannot walk and only have use of one hand. Joe taught me how to do everything necessary in daily life, with only one hand. He has an incredible ability to devise innovative and inventive solutions to any problem. Joe’s tenacity and indefatigable spirit means that no challenge is too difficult to overcome. Moreover, Joe has an enormous reserve of patience that stops him from ever giving up on a patient; even when they give up on themselves. Before I came to Joe, I was not used to having a therapist who was actually capable of making a difference in my life. Thus, I was sometimes skeptical and chose to put my academics above therapy. Joe was steadfast and never stopped trying to help me. His brilliant mind has given me my freedom. I consider him more than a therapist. He is my friend. To this day, he is always available to answer my questions and help me through jams. I recommend him unequivocally. If you work hard, Joe can help you overcome any physical limitations. I am living proof.”
Mother of 4 year old
“We came to Developmental Steps when we determined that our 4 year old son had developmental delays that were strongly linked to his own fears and anxiety. The first day he started physical therapy with Hayley, she immediately put him at ease and gained his trust. Over the next few months he made progress that we could have never imagined which led to activities such as running, jumping, swinging and even indoor rock climbing! He learned about his own physical abilities and became both self aware and self confident. We only worked with Hayley for a few months, but now he approaches new sports and activities with excitement. He is currently involved in dance, gymnastics and ice skating and he’s eager to try new things. It was a wonderful experience!”
Mother of 10 year old boy
“Developmental Steps is a wonderful group with the experience to assist children with all levels of abilities. Joe and his team are caring, patient and highly effective at helping children reach their greatest potential. We are extremely thankful that we had you and your team to help our son overcome his physical challenges.”
